Should the one electorate seat threshold be kept or changed? Why? If you recommend change, what should it be and why?:
Needs changing - inequitable that one party can get no seats and 4% of vote & win no representation - whils another wins 1 seat and 2% of general votes and then picks up that proportion of seats. Distorts voting patterns for electoral candidates - people should vote for canidates on merit - not for complex strategic reasons.
Should there be a different combination of thresholds? What should they be and why?:
I think the 5% threshold is fair - however if a party does not reach this threshold they should only gain seats where the win an electorate seat.
